We want what’s best for you and your loved one. That’s why at Premier Homecare Services Waterloo Region, we will do our best to ensure you get a quality service that meets your needs and budget.
Free In-Home Assessment
Meeting in-person for a consultation allows us to fully understand the needs of our clients and is an important part of choosing your home care company. An owner, client care co-ordinator or supervisor conducts every assessment. This initial meeting also allows our clients to meet who will be supervising their care.
An assessment will take roughly one hour, where you’ll be asked a series of important questions that will allow us to understand how we can help. Based on your answers we can customize a care package just for you. Family members are more than welcome to attend the assessment.
The assessment is used to get a full understanding of your wants and needs. We want to know about your medical conditions, likes and dislikes.
Questions we might ask:
- Do you have any allergies?
- Have you had any falls recently?
- Do you need help with bathing, if so, do you prefer a bath or shower?
- Do you need help getting dressed or undressed?
- What medications do you take?
- What activities do you enjoy? Reading, watching TV, walking, playing cards, having friends over for tea?
Once the questions have been answered, we will do a quick Home Safety Assessment to ensure that all the necessary precautions are taken so that your home is as safe as possible. By doing so, we can reduce the risk of falls and check for safety in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
No Obligation Service Agreement
After the assessment is complete, we can begin to prepare a customized care plan based on your wants, needs and budget. Remember, this is YOUR care plan, if you don’t want a certain service or want to add one, just let us know and we’ll make it happen. Your care plan is designed to allow you to maintain independence at home, thus contributing to your overall quality of life. Your feedback is important to ensure we are doing everything possible to meet your expectations.
Once you choose Premier Homecare Services Waterloo Region to be your home care company, the next step is to sign a Service Agreement. The agreement will provide you with all the details regarding policies and procedures. Being a homeowner means that there is a lot of time, effort put into your home, creating a lot of sentimental attachment. We understand the importance of your home and ensure that our caregivers respect it at all costs. You can cancel the Service Agreement at any time. Our only request is that we ask you to give us a reasonable time to settle in (a few weeks based on how frequent care is needed). We believe our service will speak for itself.
Our goal is to make sure all of your expectations are met, that includes building and maintaining a positive relationship with our caregivers. Not satisfied or want to try a different caregiver? No problem. Don’t hesitate to contact our office, we are more than happy to meet with you and find a caregiver who is a better match.
You and your family will have peace of mind knowing that Premier Homecare Services always has a representative available. Whether you need help in the middle of the day or the middle of the night, we will be there to answer your call. Worry less knowing we’re there for you 24/7.
Because everyone’s needs are different, we offer very flexible hours to fit demands and schedules. Starting with as little as 3 hours of help to around-the-clock care, there is a service for everyone. Choose to get help daily, weekly, biweekly and even monthly. We also offer a Share the Care system that allows you to split services with a friend or loved one in order to save money and time.
