What makes your caregivers different?
Every one of our caregivers are bonded and insured as employees of Premier Homecare Services. Our extensive hiring process is thorough, including employment history, criminal record and driving record checks as well a vulnerable sector screening. We only hire qualified caregivers that graduated from recognized personal health programs and that have current CPR and First Aid certificates. Every new employee undergoes a comprehensive orientation program and ongoing training is always provided for a wide range of topics.
Is there any obligation to go with Premier?
The simple answer is no. There is no contract binding clients to Premier Homecare Services. However, we ask that you give us a reasonable notice (roughly two weeks) for any changes to service. Payment for services is due upon receipt of the invoice. Invoicing is typically done on a weekly or biweekly basis. The HST is always outlined on the invoice. Is there any minimum booking time?
Three hours is roughly the minimum time spent with a client. However, we can accommodate for special circumstances, which require unique service options. Service can be provided for a short or long period of time depending on the length you or a loved one requires assistance.
What other type of care do you provide?
We offer respite care that allows primary caregivers the break they need. This can be done regularly to give them a little more time to themselves or to provide care while they go on vacation. It’s important to remember that primary caregivers need a break as well. Respite care can help.
The final transitions of life at home are often the most difficult. Our non-medical palliative home care can make those transitions easier.
